Step 1

In preparing for your SRD discussion, use the Career Pathways profile form to assess whether you:

  • Meet the skills and attributes identified for your role, or you
  • Exceed the skills and attributes required, or you
  • Need to Develop the skills and attributes

Step 2:

Ask your manager/mentor to:

  • Assess you in the same way using the Career Pathways profile form

Step 3:

Meet your manager/mentor to:

  • Discuss and agree an assessment for each skill and attribute area
  • Discuss any areas for Development you have identified and note these on the Career Pathways Profile form

Step 4:

Complete your PDP by transferring any training and development needs and identifying how these needs will be met (using the learning opportunities to get more ideas)
