Personal and Professional Development

Susannah PaxtonSusannah is involved in a number of projects contributing to the University’s institutional objectives. In particular, her work supports established, new and aspiring managers to provide an environment in which people love to work, motivating them to perform at their best and in turn, helping the University retain its talent. This includes increasing understanding of the importance of Staff Review and Development (appraisal) in motivating and developing all University employees.  Susannah’s work also feeds into the development of career pathways that aim to provide individuals with opportunities for their professional development and career progression, so they are supported to fulfil their potential.

Another key area of focus for Susannah is evaluating the impact of PPD’s activities, to increase understanding of the difference they are making to the personal and professional development of employees, in support of the University’s core mission.
