In this section you will find information regarding the range of professional development activities open to all staff.
Many staff undertake a range of development options, such as job shadowing, mentoring, secondments and vocational qualifications, along with participating in a range of Learning and Development's training and learning courses and resources.
For administrators, Learning and Development offers two key training programmes, the Administrator Development Programme and the Strategic Development Programme.
For technicians, Learning and Development has developed the Technician Development website, which includes information on professional registration and career development for technicians, and is part of the work driven by the Technician Commitment.
For professional services staff, apprenticeships offer an opportunity to develop their careers and gain a nationally recognised qualification. More information on apprenticeships is available on the Apprenticeships website.
