Tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant including:

  • a diagnostic phase to identify leadership strengths and development areas
  • confidential coaching for professional development
  • peer learning groups to resolve issues together
  • impact day to review learning and action plan for the future
Duration

4 half days and 1 full day

1 half day and 4 full days

3 group sessions

plus 8 x coaching 1:1s across 15 months

Target group Staff interested in progressing into a Head of Institution role New and recently appointed Heads of Institutions, or similar role Experienced Heads of Institution, or similar roles, who have completed SLP2 or have equivalent knowledge and experience of the University, via the length of time they have been a member of staff
Selection process Nomination by Head of School and/or School Secretary Nomination by Head of School and/or School Secretary or Head of House Nomination by Head of School or Head of House

  • Introductory Briefing, 13 May 2026.
  • 360 profiling & MBTI profiling.
  • Eight coaching 1:1s (up to 2 hrs).
  • Three peer learning sessions.
